Get in on the ground floor of an innovative growing company that develops long-range and high intensity audio products. We are seeking a short-term contract with a highly motivated and energetic individual or organization with a passion for audio and excellent communications skills. Responsibilities include completing the development of a highly specialized computerized loudspeaker that is controlled wirelessly via 802.11 and TCP/IP. This project may be temporary or the position may develop into a long-term relationship. Some of this work may be performed off-site.
Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer or Senior Software Engineer
Qualifications:
BSEE or equivalent with an MSEE a plus
4+ years analog and digital electronics design experience with programming background
Software development experience at PC application level and the embedded code level with strong MATLAB, C/C++, GUI and Assembly knowledge is a must.
Experience with microcontroller coding with DSP experience a plus
Familiarity with design to meet regulatory requirements is a plus
Other helpful Qualifications:
• Acoustics background
• Web application development: streaming A/V and remote control
• RF network topologies and system level design
• Comfortable with large responsibilities in a small team
