Conquest Innovations, LLC Adds CFO and Senior Electronics Engineer to Staff

Conquest welcomes two additions to the team – Michael Spencer, Ph.D. and Ben Wofford, J.D. Both will assist our rapid advancement, hailing from more than twenty five years in their respective fields.

Dr. Michael Spencer joins us as a Senior Electronics Engineer. Michael has an extensive background in analog and digital electronic circuit design with emphasis on Digital Signal Processing algorithm and hardware development. Michael has three US patents in the electronics field, and several more pending worldwide. His experience provides valuable insight for Conquest’s research initiatives and current development of systems for improving the intelligibility of voice messages that are broadcast over extreme distances. Michael received his Master’s in Electrical Engineering/Signal Processing from Georgia Institute of Technology and in 1995 received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Signal Processing and Biomedical from the University of Southern California. His past employers include Los Alamos National Laboratories, TRW, and his own company, Signal Processing Solutions, Inc.

Benjamin Wofford, J.D. has joined us as our Chief Financial Officer and in-house counsel. Ben is an experienced executive in financial management & analysis, negotiation, audit management, and real estate and tax law. He has also taught tax law and accounting at the college level, and still teaches an on-line accounting program. Ben received his Master of Accountancy and Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina. He served as in-house counsel and Controller for a large title company, Director of Education and Director of Accounting for a financial planning firm, and helped develop information systems technology in real estate trust accounting and closing. He joins Conquest providing invaluable financial and legal experience.

Terry Conrad, Conquest’s president, stated that “…the company plans the addition of other key personnel throughout 2007 as we launch several unique, leading-edge audio products and expand our ability to develop specialized audio and wireless communications products.”
